Dynamic Weather

IMPORTANT NOTE: this mod is not yet fully tested.
A weather system featuring lots of possible weather transitions at many different times of day.
Weather changes are initiated randomly, so it is not possible to predict when the next weather change will happen.
The transitions are generated to be completely seamless and as natural-looking as possible.
This is a very lightweight minimod that uses vanilla sky cubes and settings (no user.ltx tweaks!)
Key features:
- Includes content from the beautiful Beta Style Weather minimod by dez0wave team and xStream
- 7 different weather cycles and over 250 possible transitions
- Dark nights: some nights will be almost black - even with night vision
- Improved light boxes (a.k.a. #small textures) to produce more pure daylight
- Fog, rain and cloud colors are tuned to the weather lighting level at all times
- Works in both Static and Full Dynamic Lighting modes
- Compact download size, less than 0.5 MB
Patches for other mods to be applied before installing Dynamic Weather:
Progressive Weapons
Adds character development element to weapon accuracy.
Key features:
- The accuracy improves with rank.
- At the beginning the improvements are frequent but as the player gets more experienced the harder he has to work for it.
- Guns in slots are hidden from the trade and search/stash screens - to become visible they need to be moved to inventory
- Works with vanilla SoC and mods that don't modify weapons (simple SMM installation)
- Comes with tools for merging with non-vanilla weapon config files
Greedy Trader Repair
This minimod adds repair dialogs to traders.
The repairs are expensive to discourage abuse and because money is easy to come by in vanilla game.
It may be cheaper to buy a new item than to have your damaged item repaired.
Some weapons, however, are so rare that finding a replacement may not be an option.
Key features:
- Dynamic repair prices that depend on trader's current price (which depends on your progress) and your relation with trader's faction.
- Progressive discount feature for faction traders - the more they like you the less you pay for repairs. It is possible to get up to 50% discount.
- Random gifts like ammo, medkits etc. The probability of getting a gift depends on your reputation.
- The traders may try to rip you off - it may be possible to find someone who sells the same new item cheaper than the trader charges for the repair.
- Items need to have some minimum condition to be repaired or the trader will say that it is unrepairable.
Changes since version 1.5:
- Only expensive items can be repaired - the traders don't want to waste time on small potatoes like the AKs and other "consumables".
- Unique items can always be repaired no matter their price or condition.
Random Stashes
Based on EggChen's idea and work this is a standalone minimod for vanilla game that randomly selects one from the many possible stash contents each time you get a stash info.
The stashes are RANDOM as opposed to unique - there is a chance that you get two or more stashes with the same contents.
The treasure has been upgraded compared to vanilla game - now there is a chance to get some really good stuff!
Fuel Carry
Allows you to pick up explosive fuel cans, barrels etc. and adds unique inventory icons for these items.
The fuel containers are heavy so you'll not be able to run around with multiple barrels in your inventory.
It may take some planning to get them where they are needed.
Off course, there IS a trick to transport multiple barrels between two locations on one level... ;-)
Ballistics Tweak
Decreases the dispersion of all weapons by 30% by modifying ammo properties.
To make up for the increased accuracy the zoom motion effector is enabled.
The zoom sway is very much affected by stance and movement.
In addition to accuracy this tweak also increases damage by 15% (also for NPCs)
Outfit immunities are adjusted so that armor doesn't wear faster due to increased bullet damage (new in v1.1)
The weapon parameters shown in the inventory now show first-shot accuracy (from NatVac's ZRP) and damage with default ammo.
Bad Nightvision replacement
Reduced horizontal "duality" and improved light amplification.
File size is reduced due to removal of redundant rules.
The vision is still blurry but perfectly usable.
Good Nightvision replacement
Black & white nightvision based on the psy_antenna postprocess effect.
This one really makes you see in the dark.
